BENGALURU: The cheating case filed against Aishwarya Gowda and her husband at the Chandra Layout police station has now taken a new turn, with KPCC secretary and former minister Vinay Kulkarni being dragged into the issue.
According to sources, police investigation has revealed that a luxurious Mercedez Benz car registered in the name of Aishwarya’s husband Harish was being used by Vinay Kulkarni. This has raised many questions about the relationship between Vinay Kulkarni and Aishwarya Gowda. The police are now investigating the matter further.
Before the complaint against Aishwarya Gowda was filed, complainant Vanita Aithal had met Vinay Kulkarni at a hotel in Yeshwanthpur where Vinay Kulkarni had tried to mediate between the two parties. Both had earlier claimed that they knew Vinay Kulkarni. The police are now likely to question Vinay Kulkarni about his connection with Aishwarya Gowda and her husband.
The police have already seized a BMW, an Audi, and a Toyota Fortuner from Aishwarya and her husband. She had two more Mercedez Benz cars, but Aishwarya said she did not know about that. That is why the police have tracked down on the origin of those two Benz cars. However, the police investigation has revealed that one of the Benz cars was being used by Vinay Kulkarni.
