Aerospace engineer from Dharmasthala falls off 4th floor of Punjab college building, family demands fair probe

MANGALURU: Police have found some interesting facts in the suspicious death of aerospace engineer Akanksha in Punjab during the investigation. According to them, the LCU college contacted Akanksha’s parents and told that she committed suicide by jumping off he fourth floor of her college building and died.

Akanksha, a 22-year-old from Boliyaru near Dharmasthala in Belthangady taluk of Dakshina Kannada district, was working as an engineer at SpiceJet Aerospace in Delhi.

Akanksha had completed her aeronautics engineering at LCU College in Paghwara in Punjab and was preparing to go to Germany for further training. Thus, since her academic documents were needed, she contacted the Paghwara LCU college where she studied and asked for the certificates. But the college staff said that the certificate could not be sent and that she has to come personally and collect it. Thus, she left for the college in Punjab.

Akanksha’s parents have raised suspicions about what happened to her as she was in touch with them until she reached the college. The circumstances surrounding her death seem suspicious, they allege, and said that the college authorities might be involved in the case.

They claim that Akanksha was not one to commit suicide and that she was happy about her prospects in Germany. The parents have demanded a thorough investigation into the matter and have expressed doubts about the college’s version of events.

The family has decided to register a case and seek the truth about Akanksha’s death. They insist they want to know what really happened to their daughter and are seeking justice.
