Aero India 2025: Over one lakh visitors witness air show on last day

BENGALURU: The five-day Aero India 2025, Asia’s biggest aerospace exhibition, concluded today. The event, which has been taking place at the Air Force Station Yelahanka for the past four days, ended with a public air show today afternoon.

The 15th edition of Aero India began on February 10. For the first three days, the air show was restricted to military business. However, on the last two days on Thursday and Friday, the event has been open to the general public. The air displays took place from 9.30 am to 12 pm and again from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.

On the last day of the event, a large crowd gathered to witness the metal birds, including the Suryakiran aerobatics team, America’s F-35, Russia’s SU-57, Tejas LCA, and LUH helicopters, perform in the skies. Several other aircraft were also on static display.

About one lakh visitors witnessed the air show on Friday and a huge number was also in attendance on Thursday. Since morning, traffic congestion was reported on several roads, including Airport Road, Hebbal, Rajanakunte, Yelahanka, Yelahanka New Town, GKVK and Devanahalli surrounding roads.
