CHIKKABALLAPUR: Popular actress Harshika Poonacha has started campaigning for BJP candidate Dr K Sudhakar in Chikkaballapur Assembly constituency.
On Thursday, she went house to house at Agalagurki village seeking votes for Dr Sudhakar. The actress went around meeting people and urging them to elect Dr Sudhakar. At some houses, people performed ‘arati’ for her and she also fed some cows and calves in the village.
Speaking to Public TV, she said, “Campaigning in Chikkaballapur is like celebrating a festival because we get a lot of love from people. This is my third visit to Chikkaballapur but it already feels like I’m a daughter of this place. Dr Sudhakar has done a lot of work in the constituency like providing sites, interest-free loans, women’s empowerment, job opportunities, hospitals and it’s my privilege to be campaigning for Dr Sudhakar”.
