Actor Santosh Balraj dies due to complications from jaundice

BENGALURU: Sandalwood actor Santosh Balaraj (34) has passed away at Sagar Apollo Hospital in Kumaraswamy Layout due to ill health.

He was admitted to the hospital due to complications from jaundice, which had spread throughout his body. Santosh had been hospitalised last month for the same issue, but had recovered. However, his condition worsened, and he was shifted to the ICU.

Santosh, the son of veteran producer Anekal Balaraj, had starred in several films, including ‘Kariya-2,’ ‘Kempa’, ‘Ganapa,’ ‘Barkley’, and ‘Satya.’ His sudden demise has shocked the Kannada film industry.
