Actor Pratham lodges complaint alleging threats, online abuse by Darshan’s fans

CHIKKABALLAPUR: The Doddaballapur Rural police have registered an FIR based on a complaint from actor Pratham M that he was threatened by fans of actor Darshan with a dagger during a religious event. The FIR names Bakery Raghu as the main accused and Yashaswini as the second accused among others.

As per the FIR, Pratham was threatened with a dagger and knife for speaking about Darshan during a religious event organised by movie promoter Mahesh at Ramaiahnapalya in Doddaballapur taluk.

Movie promoter Mahesh had organised a religious event when Pratham was allegedly threatened.

Pratham’s complaint says he was taken to an secluded place in a forest and threatened. He was also shown a photograph of Darshan in the jail barracks. He has also alleged that he has been abused online by more than 500 social media accounts of Darshan’s fans.

The Doddaballapur police have taken up further investigation.
