BENGALURU: Actor Deekshith Shetty, who became popular with the film ‘Diya’, is now ready to make a splash on screen with a pan-India movie. Deekshith had grabbed attention with the role of a simple boy in the movie ‘Diya’. He is now playing a major role in the upcoming movie ‘Dasara’ and will be sharing the screen with popular actor Natural Nani.
Deekshith Shetty will appear as the character Suri in ‘Dasara’ which will be released worldwide on March 30. The film, directed by Srikanth Odela, stars Natural Star Nani and Keerthy Suresh, the leading lady, has created a strong impression.
The pan-India project has caught attention worldwide after the release of the teaser. Notably, a Kannada actor is sharing screen space with a popular Telugu star.
“I acted in the web series ‘Meet Cute’, produced by Nani sir’s production house. Vinay, the co-director of the web series, saw my performance, acting skills and referred me for the ‘Dasara’ movie. Nani sir also appreciated my performance in the web series, so I got a chance to act in the movie”, said Deekshith Shetty.
Deekshith further added, “I am playing the role of Suri in the film. This character will feature throughout the movie. I worked with the film team for ten months and had a wonderful experience”.
He shared happiness about his role and the team of ‘Dasara’ and added that the director and Nani also gave him acting tips.
After ‘Diya’, Deekshit Shetty has been busy in many movies. Presently, the movies ‘KTM’ and ‘Blink’ are ready for release in Kannada. Before that, Deekshit Shetty is al set to entertain the audience as ‘Suri’ in ‘Dasara’.
