BENGALURU: Popular actor Arjun Sarja visited the residence of veteran Kannada film actor Leelavati at her Soladevanahalli farm house near Nelamangala on Saturday, and inquired about her health.
The 87-year-old Leelavati is bedridden due to age-related issues. In recent days, many artists and film industry technicians have visited Soladevanahalli to inquire about her health condition.
Leelavathi’s son Vinodraj shed tears while Arjun Sarja was inquiring about his mother’s health. After that, Arjun Sarja said that he would pray to Lord Hanuman for the recovery of Leelavathi’s health. A big Hanuman temple has been built near the farm house and he said will offer prayers there itself.
Despite her poor health and weakness, Leelavati actively participated in the Cauvery water protest in Mandya and extended her support for farmers and Kannadigas.
