BENGALURU: The investigation into the murder of history-sheeter Biklu Shiva, alias Shivaprakash has revealed that the accused purchased a Mahindra Scorpio SUV from an army officer, Reddyappa, for Rs 2 lakh in February this year.
This same Scorpio car was used exclusively for the murder of Biklu Shiva. Further investigation revealed that R D Anil, who is one of the five accused arrested in the case, bought the Scorpio car from the army officer and handed it over to the accused, Samuel, for reconnaissance purposes and to track Biklu Shiva’s movements.
The Bharathi Nagar police have seized the car used in the murder, and it is currently parked outside the Bharathi Nagar police station.
