BENGALURU: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has reportedly expressed dissatisfaction over the Greater Bengaluru issue. A disagreement arose between CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar during a cabinet meeting held on Thursday. The issue was about the inclusion of 10 villages, including Byramangala in Ramanagara taluk, within the Greater Bengaluru limits.
The CM expressed dissatisfaction with the proposal, seeking more information on the matter as the issue was reportedly added without prior notice. The issue has been deferred for now. Additionally, there was confusion over a proposal to increase land prices in Ramanagara. It is said that the CM objected to the additional agenda being put on without providing proper information about the issue, and when the CM refused, Shivakumar tried to convince him about the inclusion of 10 villages.
There is confusion over the issue of the increase in the rates of housing plots of the Ramanagara Urban Development Authority, and CM sought detailed information in this regard. The cabinet has postponed discussion o the issue, following by the CM’s objection.
