TUMAKURU: Anand, who recently grabbed headlines for catching a leopard by its tail, lost his 13-year-old daughter Kavana to respiratory issues in Tiptur, in the district.
Anand, a resident of Chikkakottigehalli near Rangapura, had made news after catching a leopard by its tail and netting it. The leopard had been evading Forest Department staff. A video of the incident went viral on social media, earning him praise for his bravery.
Anand’s daughter Kavana developed respiratory problems. She was rushed to a private hospital in Tiptur, where she unfortunately passed away despite medical treatment.
