BAGALKOT: A girl from Neelanagar Tanda in the taluk has brought laurels by winning medals at the Batumi International Wushu Tournament held recently. Anitha Chavan won one gold and a silver medal in the competition.
The Batumi International Wushu Tournament was held earlier this month. After she arrived in Bagalkot, Anitha was felicitated by local citizens. She was also presented a shawl at the KSRTC bus stand by Banjara community seer Kumar Maharaj Swami.
