BENGALURU: A 13-year-old boy and his 11-year-old sister drowned in the Kengeri Lake on Monday night when they had gone to fetch water.
Srinivasan and his sister Laxmi had been reported missing. After a three-hour-long search operation, the Fire Department personnel recovered the boy’s body on Tuesday.The search for Laxmi was continuing.
The search operation began early Tuesday morning after suspicions arose that the siblings might have fallen into the lake. Rescuers and firemen searched for Laxmi all through the day and the operation is expected to continue on Wednesday.
