Four children injured after ceiling of anganwadi centre collapses in Koppal

KOPPAL: At least four children were injured after the ceiling of an anganwadi centre at Mahebub Nagar in Gangavathi collapsed early this morning. The injured children are aged between 4-5 years and were identified as Aman Sayyed, Mardan, Manvitha and Suraksha.

Locals rushed the injured children to a government hospital. Fortunately, all children are safe. The anganwadi centre reopened today after a three-day break. Teacher Hasina was teaching around 20 children when the ceiling suddenly collapsed.

City Council president Maulasab, Ward member Manohar Swamy, CDPO Jayashree Desai, superviser Chandramma, and other council members inspected the anganwadi.
