BENGALURU: The city traffic police on Thursday night conducted checks for drunk driving at major locations in the city including Koramangala, MG Road and Corporation Circle.
The checks were conducted at places where CCTV cameras are installed. The drive was taken up in view of the increasing number of accidents in the city and will go on till the weekend.
Some vehicle users got into arguments with the police while on Koramangala 80-feet road, some two-wheeler riders turned around and sped away on spotting the policemen. However, most of the drivers and riders cleared the alcohol tests.
