CHIKKODI: A man died of a heart attack just a day before his wedding, at Junjarawada Khachi village in Athani taluk. The deceased, identified as Sadashiv Ramappa Hosalkar (31), was a resident of Junjarawada Khachi village.
Sadashiv’s family and relatives had fixed his wedding date for September 5. Around 8 pm on Tuesday, he collapsed while discussing the wedding arrangements over the phone in front of his house, and died of a severe heart attack.
He was the only son for that family and breadwinner. He was rushed to a private hospital in Athani town, but could not be saved. The incident was reported in Aigali police station limits.
