BENGALURU: A huge tree fell on the road connecting Chalukya Circle and Mysore Bank Circle on Saturday morning, completely cutting off traffic flow. With the BBMP personnel not turning up even after two hours, the traffic police themselves got down to clearing the fallen tree branches from the road.

The fallen tree had damaged the railings on the footpath, some cables and a Bescom junction box and luckily, there was no loss of life. The BBMP personnel arrived later and cleared the fallen tree to allow traffic flow towards Mysore Bank Circle.
