UDUPI: A 32-year-old man, who had admitted his father as an in-patient at the KMC Hospital in Manipal on Friday evening was found dead in his car on the hospital premises on Saturday morning. The deceased was identified as Kadur resident Gururaj.
Gururaj had come along with the elder brother’s friend to admit his father to the hospital. With no arrangement to stay in the hospital with his father, Gururaj raised the windows of his car, turned on the air-conditioner and slept in the car which was parked at the parking lot.
On Saturday morning, he was found dead inside the car and it is suspected that he may have suffocated to death. The exact cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem examination. The Manipal police visited the spot and have registered a case.
