HASSAN: A tragic accident claimed the life of a man who was to get married, near Moogali village in Sakleshpur taluk on Thursday, even as he was on his way for a pre-wedding photo shoot.
Manu L N (29), a resident of Darbar Pete, Lakunda village in Belur taluk, died on the spot following the accident. His wedding was scheduled for May 10 and preparations were in full swing.
Manu was travelling by car to bring the bride for a pre-wedding shoot when the car lost control and crashed into a tree. He died at the spot, and the impact left the car completely mangled.
The house, which was to celebrate, was instead enveloped in mourning, with the parents’ cries for their lost son reaching the skies. Police visited the spot and conducted an inspection. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Sakleshpur Rural police station.
