BENGALURU: The facade of the man who claimed to be Amit Shah’s adopted son has been exposed. He targeted devotees of a math and defrauded them of crores. Police have filed a chargesheet against Sujayendra which reveals Sujayendra’s lies.
Sujayendra cheated a doctor from Kashmir of Rs 2.5 crore. He took the money by promising to sell land belonging to Yatiraj Math, saying he would get it for the doctor. He also told Dr Raja Langar that he would build a heritage home near Devanahalli, claiming it would generate crores from ‘Heritage Homes’, and duped him. He collected money claiming it was for prime land near the airport.
Sujayendra took the money as early as 2023. The investigation has also uncovered more of his frauds. Five cheque bounce cases have been registered against Sujayendra. He cheated people in a similar way by bouncing cheques.
Police have seized fake ID cards and seals from Sujayendra’s house. Fake seals of the Ministry of Home Affiars were seized. He is being investigated further after the fake seals were seized. Along with cheating a person from Jammu and Kashmir, Sujayendra has defrauded many others.
