BENGALURU: A young woman’s safety was ensured by the joint efforts of Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) staff and a Rapido driver in the early hours of the morning.
The woman had arrived at Kempegowda International Airport and was heading to Kadugodi by a BMTC bus around 3 am. When she couldn’t book a cab due to the late hour and isolated location, the BMTC driver waited with her to ensure her safety till she got a cab.

A passing Rapido driver noticed the situation and offered assistance. The BMTC staff then escorted the woman with the Rapido driver, who safely dropped her home without charging any fare.The woman, Aishwarya, took to social media to express her gratitude, praising the BMTC staff and Rapido driver for their kindness and responsibility.
