Father, brother arrested for man’s murder after domestic dispute

TUMAKURU: A man stabbed his younger brother, leading to the latter’s death, during a family dispute in Banashankari area in the town. The father, John Paul, tried to cover up the incident, but was exposed when the victim, Stalin (29), died after six days of treatment in a hospital.

Stalin’s fiancee has alleged that his brother Naveen had accused him of having an affair with his wife. The dispute escalated on the March 22, leading to the stabbing. John Paul initially told police that Stalin had fallen and injured himself, but doctors raised suspicions, revealing a stab wound from close quarters.

The Jayanagar police arrested John Paul and Naveen and have taken up further investigation after registering a murder case.
