RAMANAGARA: A student was killed after being run over by a lorry near Banandur Cross in Bidadi taluk on Thursday. The Class 8 student, Vijay, was on his way to the Bidadi Government School when the accident occurred.
Locals alleged that the lorry driver was intoxicated and speeding, and handed him over to the police after the incident. The police have taken the driver into custody and are investigating the matter.
