KOLAR: Kolar Gold Fields SP Shivanshu Rajput and police officials on Tuesday visited the house of a student who wrote her SSLC exams lying on a stretcher in an ambulance.
Kusuma, from Chinnanaganahalli village in KGF taluk, had recently undergone surgery for a leg fracture after an accident. Despite her condition, she arrived at the exam centre in an ambulance and wrote her exams on a stretcher.
SP Shivanshu Rajput visited Kusuma’s house to congratulate her on her determination and strength. He also provided financial assistance to her family and praised her as a role model for other students. Kusuma’s act has inspired many, and her dedication to education has been appreciated by the police officials.
Speaking to the media after meeting Kusuma, the SP said, “We visited the strong girl Kusuma, who lost her both her legs in an accident last year. She has recently written the SSLC exam and it shows her strong will to grow. We have extended some financial help to the family and will provide any assistance. Her determination is also a message for other children and we should be thankful that we are all healthy and her life is very motivating”.
