BENGALURU: In a shocking case of betrayal in Koramangala area, a man has lodged a complaint against his close friend for allegedly stealing Rs 4.45 lakh from his bank accounts.

Chintan Arora and Naveen Vemula were roommates and close friends, sharing a rented room in KH Colony in Koramangala. They had a party together on the night of March 6, and before going to bed, Chintan had shared his mobile password with Naveen.

The next morning, Chintan woke up to find Naveen missing, and upon checking his mobile, he discovered that Naveen had made several online purchases and transferred money to various bank accounts, totaling Rs 4.45 lakh.

Chintan is shocked and devastated by his friend’s betrayal and has approached the Koramangala police with a complaint. The police are investigating the case, and efforts are on to track down Naveen and recover the stolen amount.
