KOLAR: Additional Deputy Commissioner Mangala and a team of officials raided several hotels, checking for misuse of domestic LPG cylinders. The team inspected kitchens, warning hotels against using domestic cylinders meant for household use.
The raid followed complaints that hotels were using domestic cylinders due to a shortage of commercial LPG cylinders. Hotels like Sai Dham, Aradhya Grand, Shrihari Darshini and Sahana Darshini were inspected.
Officials warned the owners against refilling commercial cylinders from domestic LPG and urged hotels to follow norms. The team included tahsildar Nayana, Food Department Inspector Subhash and Revenue Inspector Raju.
