KOPPAL: A Hindu youth was attacked by a group of Muslim youths in Gangavathi over an Instagram story he posted about slain Iranian spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Chandrashekhar, a dates merchant, was allegedly assaulted by 5-6 Muslim youths who barged into his shop, claiming that his post had hurt their sentiments. They verbally abused him and threatened to attack his home.
Chandrashekhar filed a complaint with the Gangavathi city police station, fearing for his life.
