MADIKERI: A bus fell into a drain after the driver lost control due to brake failure and crashed into an electricity pole on the Kattikeri-Madikeri main road in Kodagu district. The bus, which was on its way from Emmadevu to Mysur, lost its brakes near Kattikeri, causing the driver to lose control.
The quick thinking of the driver prevented a major accident, and only one woman passenger was slightly injured. The KSRTC arranged for another bus to transport the passengers to their destination.
