BENGALURU: A KSRTC bus driver in Mandya district was seen watching social media teels on his mobile phone while driving the bus, putting the lives of passengers at risk. The incident occurred on the Mandya-Mysuru route and the bus was travelling from Malavalli to Mysuru.
The driver, Mahesh, was driving the bus (KA 11 E 0547) with a full load of passengers. Despite the busy road with two-way traffic, Mahesh was distracted by his phone and watching reels, ignoring the road and the passengers.
The incident has sparked public outrage, as the road has witnessed several accidents in the past. The driver’s reckless behaviour put the lives of passengers at risk, and people are demanding action against him.
