CHITRADURGA: A supervisor, Chandrashekhar (49), died after being hit by a lorry at a iron ore mine at Bheemanasamudra village in Chitradurga taluk. The accident occurred on Friday afternoon, but the company allegedly failed to inform the family immediately.
The family and employees staged a protest, alleging negligence and lack of safety measures at the mine. They demanded a thorough investigation and action against those responsible.
The body was been shifted to the district hospital mortuary, and the police are investigating the incident.
