Moral policing: Hindu youths attacked for being in company with Muslim girl during Urus in Bangarpet

KOLAR: In an act of moral policing, a group of Muslim youths attacked some Hindu youths who were with a Muslim girl in Bangarpet during an Urus procession.

The police have arrested 10 people in connection with the incident, including Zahid, Abid Ahmed, and Sheik Sakeeb. The complaint was filed by Chandini, a Muslim girl, who alleged that the accused had attacked her and her Hindu friends, Rahul, Purushottam, Lavanya and Sanjay, who were with her and her brother Rafi.

Kolar Gold Fields SP Shivanshu Rajput visited the scene, and a case has been registered at Bangarpet police station.
