RAMANAGARA: The police have arrested three youths for threatening a lorry driver with a fake gun on the Bengaluru-Kunigal highway for allegedly not letting their car to pass.
The incident occurred when the youths, travelling in a car, asked the lorry driver to give way and allegedly threatened him with a fake gun when he refused. The lorry driver recorded the incident and posted it on social media, which went viral.
The police took the matter seriously, tracked down the car, and arrested the three men. A fake gun was also seized from them. The accused, identified as Preetham (23), Likhit (22) and Gagan (23), have been booked under relevant sections of the law at the Kudur police station.
