CHAMARAJANAGAR: A man got trapped in a cage meant for capturing a leopard in Gangavadi village in Chamarajanagar taluk. He was later rescued.
Kitti entered the cage out of curiosity when no one was around, and it automatically locked behind him. Kitti was trapped in the carge for over three hours. He tried to open the cage door, but failed and shouted for help.
Farmers heard his cries and rescued him. A leopard had killed three cows in the area, prompting the Forest department to set the cage trap on land belonging to a farmer, Rudra.
