BAGALKOT: A lorry overturned after hitting a road divider in Navanagar, Bagalkot, resulting in the driver, Umesh Chalavadi, suffering a fracture in his right leg. The incident occurred early on Wednesday morning near Tejas School in Navanagar.
A motorcycle suddenly crossed the road, and in an attempt to avoid it, the lorry driver hit the road divider, causing the vehicle to overturn. Umesh was on his way to Badami to load sugarcane for Mellbro Sugars Pvt Ltd factory in Shirur.
The lorry was cleared from the road with the help of a crane. The Navanagar police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
