BENGALURU: Cases have been registered against two pubs in the that were in the news recently, including one owned by Bollywood actress Shilpa Shettty.
When Aryan Khan visited the Sour Berry Pub, he had made a vulgar gesture at the public place by showing his middle finger. At the Bastion Pub, owned by Shilpa Shetty, an entrepreneur had caused a disturbance. Because of the late‑night parties, two separate FIRs have been registered against the two pubs.
After both incidents, the police examined the CCTV footage from both places. It is believed that late‑night parties were being held at the pubs and a review of the footage confirmed that such parties had indeed taken place, leading to separate FIRs against both establishments.
Sour Berry Pub was reportedly open until 1.25 am on November 30 while Bastion Pub was open until 1.30 am on December 11. A complaint of disturbance was lodged against entrepreneur Satya Naidu. Police are currently investigating the case.
Statements have been recorded from Satya Naidu, the pub staff and others, totalling of eight people. All of them said the disturbance arose over a bill payment issue. No complaint of assault on anyone has been received.
