BAGALKOT: Four people died after a car rammed into a sugarcane-laden tractor near Siddapur village on the Bagalkot-Vijayapura highway in the wee hours on Wednesday. While three died on the spot, another died in hospital.
The deceased are Vishwanath Kambar (17), Ganesh Aralimatti (20), Eshu Kambar, Praveen Shedabhal (22), and Prajwal Shedabhal (17). Prajwal died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
The victims and the injured are all from Siddapur village. The accident occurred around 1 am on Wednesday and Jamakhandi Rural police visited the spot.
