BENGALURU: The Madanayakana Halli police have arrested three individuals including a woman, her boyfriend for murdering her husband and then filed a missing person case. The victim is Suresh.
Suresh and his wife are originally from Yadgir and were living in Byadarahalli in Bengaluru. Suresh was working as a mason and while working there, the wife fell in love with Veerabhadra. Without the husband’s knowledge, the two spent about six months together.
One day the husband became suspicious and checked, and the two were caught red‑handed. He scolded his wife and kept quiet. However, the two had already planned to eliminate him. When the husband was at home, the wife called her boyfriend. They attacked him with a stone on the head, then hanged and killed him.
After that, Veerabhadra called his friend Anil, and they putthe body into a car, drove it to a deserted area, poured petrol on it, and set it on fire. Afterwards, they returned home as if nothing had happened.
Three days later the woman reported to the Byadarahalli police station that her husband was missing. When the police began their investigation, they found no clues. After reviewing about three hundred CCTV footage, they traced the car’s movement. On the basis of that evidence, it became clear that the two had committed the murder together.
At present the Madanayakana Halli police have arrested three individuals and are conducting further investigation.
