Man who cheated people posing as Amit Shah’s ‘adopted son’ and PMO official arrested

BENGALURU: A man was arrested for cheating many people, including politicians, by posing him an officer from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s ‘adopted son’. He even shared a stage with Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar at an event.

The accused is Sujay a.k.a Sujayendra, a resident of Vijayanagar in Bengaluru. Sujayendra is jobless, but introduced himself to everyone as a person close to the central government.

He collected Rs 2.7 crore from a doctor in Jammu and Kashmir, promising to arrange for an Ayurvedic hospital near Devanahalli. He deceived the doctorby saying he would build the hospital in villa style.

The Vijayanagar police have registered a case and arrested Sujayendra after which the truth has been revealed. Sujayendra had earlier gone to jail twice. Moreover, the investigation has uncovered that there are four cheque bounce cases against him.
