Tumakuru terror suspect questioned in connection with Delhi car blast case

TUMAKURU: A terror suspect, who had been arrested earlier and released, was questioned by the Tumakuru police in connection with the Delhi car bomb blast case.

Mujahideen, a resident of PH Colony in Tumakuru, was arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in 2016 and had spent spent years in Tihar Jail. He was associated with the Kalifat terror group and had hosted a meeting of the organisation’s leaders in Tumakuru.

Mujahideen was questioned by the Tilak Park police led by Additional SP Purushottam. He was released as no evidence of his involvement in the Delhi case was found.
