BENGALURU: A woman has accused a Rapido bike taxi rider of misbehaving with her and trying to touch her inappropriately during a ride in the city. The incident, which occurred on November 6, has sparked outrage on social media.
The woman, who had booked a ride with the Rapido bike taxi service, alleged that the rider, identified as Lokesh, intentionally touched her legs and thighs during the journey. She recorded a video of the incident on her phone and informed her friend, who then approached the driver and confronted him.

The woman has filed a complaint with the Wilson Garden police, and an FIR has been registered against Lokesh. The police have contacted the rider and asked him to appear for questioning. The incident has raised concerns about the safety of passengers using bike taxi services, with many calling for stricter regulations and better safety measures to be put in place.
