BIDAR: Three people died on the spot and two others sustained serious injuries after a car and a goods vehicle collided head-on near Neelammanalli thanda in Bhalki taluk on Wednesday.
The deceased, Rachaiah, Naveen, and Nagaraj, are from Telangana’s Jagannathpur village. They had visited Ganagapura Dattatreya temple yesterday and were heading back when the accident occurred.
The injured are being treated at Bidar’s BRIMS Hospital. The Dhannura police have registered the case and are investigating the incident.
