Tremors hit Vijayapura again

VIJAYAPURA: Mild tremors were felt in Vijayapura around 7.49 am on Tuesday. The tremors were accompanied by a loud noise, and people felt the ground shaking beneath their feet.

The intensity of the tremors was captured on CCTV cameras, which showed the tremors and the loud noise. The intensity was recorded on earthquake-tracking apps, which suggested a magnitude of 3.1 on the Richter scale.

The tremors weres felt in several areas of Vijayapura city and Tikota taluk, including Tikota town, Kallakavatagi, Toravi, Shivagiri and Honnutagi. This is the 13th time in the past two months that tremors have been felt in the district, causing widespread panic among the people.

The series of tremors have left people worried, and many are seeking more information about the seismic activity in the region. The tremor’s impact was felt across the district, with many people reporting rumblings and loud noises.
