KOLAR: A shocking incident has come to light at Agara village in Malur taluk where the grave of a person who died nine months ago was found disturbed. The family suspected that the remains were missing and approached the police.
The victim, identified as Srinivas, had died under suspicious circumstances on January 23. The family members of the deceased reported the matter to the Mastihalli police, who registered a case and launched an investigation.
A team of officials, including the Kondashettyhalli panchayat authorities and police, visited the cemetery and dug up the grave in the presence of family members. However, they found that the remains were intact. The officials reburied the remains and the family members performed a puja ceremony.
The incident has sparked outrage, and the police are investigating the matter to identify the culprits who committed this heinous act.
