BENGALURU: A woman allegedly jumped death from a building and died by suicide at Gerupalya in Kengeri, after a quarrel with her husband over recharging her mobile mobile phone. The incident occurred on October 12 and the victim was identified as Shikha Devi (28).
Shikha Devi was married to Sandeep Kumar in 2019 and had a two-year-old son with him. They were living in a rented house in Kengeri. The couple was initially staying in Uttar Pradesh before Sandeep Kumar brought Shikha and their son to Bengaluru.
On October 12, Shikha had an argument with her husband over recharging her mobile phone. She lated suicide by jumping from the terrace. The Kumbalgodu police have registered a case based on the complaint filed by Shikha’s father Anil Kumar Tripathi, and are investigating the matter.
