BENGALURU: A man killed his friend over a petty issue at a shed in Veeranapalya in Amruthahalli police station limits. The victim, Raju, a native of Jharkhand, was killed by his friend Raghu.
A total of four people, including two other friends, were staying in the shed. The two friends had a minor altercation two days ago, which escalated into a bigger dispute.
On the day of the incident, Raghu and Raju were alone at the shed, and the argument turned violent, leading to Raghu killing Raju by slitting his throat.
After committing the crime, Raghu tried to flee to Jharkhand, but was caught at the railway station just as the train was about to depart. The police tracked him down using his mobile phone’s GPS location and arrested him. A case has been registered at the Amruthahalli police station and further investigation is ongoing.
