SHIVAMOGGA: Twelve women from Bengaluru and the driver of a passenger vehicle were injured after it overturned near Kuranakoppa close to Sigandur on Sunday.
The group, hailing from Bengaluru, had arrived in Sagar by train and hired the vehicle to visit Sigandur Chowdeshwari Temple. Three women suffered serious injuries and were initially treated at Sagar Hospital before being shifted to McGann Hospital in Shivamogga for further treatment.
The accident occurred within the jurisdiction of Sagar Rural police station.
