BENGALURU: Two groups of students hailing from Kerala engaged in a clash over a trivial reason after Onam celebrations near KR Pura in Avalahalli police limits on Wednesday evening.
According to the police, the clash occurred between two groups of junior and senior college students right in front of their college. However, the
principal and the college management were worried for the academic future of the students.
Following the intervention of the college authorities, the police have taken written undertakings from more than 50 students who were involved in the clash.In another incident, two youths exchanged blows in Hennu police limits over an issue related to a girl. Both were bleeding and had each other in
chokeholds, but bystanders did not intervene. The youths were identified as Arman, son of an ASI posted at HAL police station, and Azharuddin. The Hennur police have registered complaints from both sides. Videos of the fisticuff have been widely circulated on social media.
