KALABURAGI: The Shahbad police have arrested five people in connection with the murder attempt on history-sheeter Shankar Allolli near Bhankur Cross in Shahbad taluk. They have also seized an SUV belonging to the accused.
The arrested are Shubham a.k.a Tikkayya, Mallikarjun, Vikram, Basavaraj and Sunil. Two swords and a machete were also seized. Further investigation is under way.
