BENGALURU: The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) initiative has led to the creation of five city corporations, and under this, 10 new zones have been formed — two zones under each corporation.
The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has issued an order to create these new zones for administrative convenience. Here are the five city corporations and their respective zones:
- Bengaluru Central Corporation: CV Raman Nagar under Zone 1 and Gandhi Nagar under Zone 2.
- Bengaluru East Corporation: Mahadevapura under Zone 1 and K R Pura under Zone 2.
- Bengaluru South Corporation: Jayanagar under Zone 1 and Bommanahalli under Zone 2.
- Bengaluru West Corporation: Rajarajeshwari Nagar under Zone 1 and Malleshwaram under Zone 2.
- Bengaluru North Corporation: Byatarayanapura under Zone 1 and Yelahanka under Zone 2.
