KALABURAGI: A police head constable, who was on duty, died after suffering a heart attack at Malkhed in Sedam taluk on Thursday. The deceased is Manohar Pawar (46).
The head constable, attached to the Malkhed police station, was posted on duty for the Ganesha idol immersion when he suffered a heart attack. He was immediately rushed to a hospital in Kalaburagi, but died enroute.
The last rites were conducted on Friday on his farmland at his native Kalagi thanda.
